Discussing the principles of design on the movie poster (Guardians of the galaxy)

On today's blog I'm going to be discussing how the poster above depicts and shows the effects of the principles of design which are; Alignment, Space, Colour choices and hierarchy.
Alignment- The alignment in the poster is at the centre and clearly visible making the design look well organised with the right font styles to the size of fonts and the arrangement of letters. As it is clearly visible for customers as most people don't go through posters based on plenty words written, bad font style, colour choices and bad presentation. But the front style represents the message of the film with the proper font style picked to the arrangement of words. The alignment in this poster has been carefully used in creating structure and balance in the designing so as to get the best result that won't differ from the main point of view for the movie and The colour choices as well is top notch as it is a combination of vibrant colours used which speaks well of the movie and symbolises certain facts about the movie i.e Red which speaks of (adventure, power, courage, actions and danger), Blue and purple which shows the background which is outer space and also shows more of the Adventureland and how peaceful and creative it can be, orange and yellow which are detailed and points out the characters in the movie, stands for (happiness, vitality and hope) and more. The colour combinations isn't more of masculine to feminine preferences but is a combination which is preferable to all. it also shows how active and fun the movie is also how aesthetically beautiful the movie is. Colour choices is a very vital step in designing as in this image with the right colour choices it draws the prospective customers from using warm colours ( red, yellow, orange) to using cool colours ( blue, purple, pink) and other colours used in little details, these colours really draws the attention of people and tells little of what to anticipate in the movie.
The spacing which isn't too clustered but visible for a walk by individual to clearly understand the message the title and image is portraying. spacing plays a very big role in design as it could also attract attentions of little kids, comic lovers, adventurers and parents thereby gaining profits for the selling company as well. it has clearly effective image which draws the eye of intended customers and conveys the main message of the movie. The space given shows how neat the design is and also shows details that can also be used to communicate better to the audience. It I spaced enough for people to see little colour details in the design and the little font styles and with the spacing and other principles not only does it look like a movie poster but could be a comic poster, or a novel poster, a billboard poster and lots more.
Hierarchy- With all the key principles and effects used the movie poster draws more attention to the audience showing them the key message of what the movie has  to convey. All elements used in the message sets and shows the mood/tone of the film from the comedy to the adventure, even as well the colour choices speaks more on the feelings of the movie from the light colour used to the darker tones. All these shows the hierarchy of designs in this poster and how well lines, creativity and ideas could be used to create this piece of art. With every principles of designs having equal importance added to create this design, hierarchy has shown how every bit of aspects in arts as well as design can communicate to the audience in so many ways from : colours to alignments to spacing and hierarchy etc, these elements all has shown the main points of the movie and can attract the attention of audiences alongside make hedge sales as well.
