Photoshop Edit Mix
On today's photoshop learning I edited four pics and combined them to one. Firstly I downloaded the dancer pic, image of bats, dance floor and a cave pic which I had used to create this image above.Opened a file with the break-dancer in it and selected it them copy and pasted to a separate file then I had a layer and a background so I turned my background off and used object selection to select the environment which the break-dancer was in and I deleted , I used quick selection to reduced and take out unwanted parts which the quick selection didn't select. Zoom in properly and make sure the hair isn't selected and take out little backgrounds in the hair strands and after which I did this my image of the dancer looked like this image below.
For the bat image, I duplicated the image and turned off the background using the layer only, using the crop tool I cropped out the tree on the background taking mostly the bats side. Then I turned the picture black and white after duplicating the layer and turning the main layer off, I brightened the brightness of the sky then used the magic tool wand to select the background then used select inverse( which makes unselected things selected) from the select icon at the top left.
For the dance floor image I took off the background layer then I used the object selection tool to select the background of the dance floor then I zoom in to check for any other places to be selected then click delete thereby taking out the background and leaving the dance floor only. The cave image I used the clone stamp tool to take out the man standing in the cave. Then I added the dance floor to my layer and used transform tool to place it right and also the dancer I placed her right on top of the dance floor and resized her using the transform tool.
I added the edited bats to the background and also resized and adjusted it with transform tool, using blur tool to blend the bats I also used colour blend for the shades of the bats. Then for the shadow of the dancer I copied the dancer and pasted her beneath the original dancer and named the layer shadow then I converted it to smart object by clicking the layer then convert to smart object. So I then used free transform then right clicked on the shadow picture then flip horizontally so as to make the shadow layer fit in as a shadow. After that I clicked- Image- Adjustments- Exposure then adjust to my satisfaction then ok, I then reduced the opacity to my preferred choice. The background I played around with my saturation and exposure and some tools under adjustments. My final results is this a very nice edit done and very helpful process used to create this.
