Image
In this session I was in a group of four whereby we all made video shots of making a cup of tea in the kitchen which was really fun, although the major shots weren't used  we created a video making a cup of tea. Editing the videos on Adobe Premiere the video was transferred to my hard drive then I plugged it to the laptop then opened the Adobe Premiere app, new project then click file- put project name- and changed the project location to my hard drive and click on create file. Once the file is created click on workspace at the top of the layer then effects, after which I saved the file to my D drive. The effect control Tool is where all effects tools used for the visual panels are found and the primary tools for editing the video clips are right beside the editing space.       Furthermore I clicked on the spanner like tool right above my editing space then clicked safe margins( serves as a project screen to portray the subject in the frame, provides boundaries...

Photoshop Edit Mix

Image
On today's photoshop learning I edited four pics and combined them to one. Firstly I downloaded the dancer pic, image of bats, dance floor and a cave pic which I had used to create this image above. Opened a file with the break-dancer in it and selected it them copy and pasted to a separate file then I had a layer and a background so I turned my background off and used object selection to select the environment which the break-dancer was in and I deleted , I used quick selection to reduced and take out unwanted parts which the quick selection didn't select. Zoom in properly and make sure the hair isn't selected  and take out little backgrounds in the hair strands and after which I did this my image of the dancer looked like this image below. For the bat image, I duplicated the image and turned off the background using the layer only, using the crop tool I cropped out the tree on the background taking mostly the bats side. Then I turned the picture black and white after dupl...

Padlet portfolio analysis

Image
The pictures above are portfolios I picked on padlet from Studio Holmberg an Architecture and her creative work is more like a feeling of warmth, peace, nature, relaxation from the colours used to the building structure and the environment around. The overall aesthetic of the portfolios are really amazing they all signify the true meaning of modern home aesthetic and a minimalist aesthetic as well.                   The mood of the pictures are really peaceful and calm with the shades of peach colours used which conveys different meanings in the picture like exotic tropical environment, warmth, brings the blend from nature to modernity, brings cozyness in the home atmosphere, romance and energy. Also the off white colour used in some rooms like the kitchen and corridor also depicting joy, peacefulness and relaxation. This are all combinations of homely and relaxing colours used. From the timber like buildings very calm too the hills and ...

Discussing the principles of design on the movie poster (Guardians of the galaxy)

Image
On today's blog I'm going to be discussing how the poster above depicts and shows the effects of the principles of design which are; Alignment, Space, Colour choices and hierarchy. Alignment- The alignment in the poster is at the centre and clearly visible making the design look well organised with the right font styles to the size of fonts and the arrangement of letters. As it is clearly visible for customers as most people don't go through posters based on plenty words written, bad font style, colour choices and bad presentation. But the front style represents the message of the film with the proper font style picked to the arrangement of words. The alignment in this poster has been carefully used in creating structure and balance in the designing so as to get the best result that won't differ from the main point of view for the movie and The colour choices as well is top notch as it is a combination of vibrant colours used which speaks well of the movie and symbolise...
